Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin - E-Assessment

E-examination Center of the HU

The e-examination center of the HU Berlin is located on the Adlershof campus and is integrated into the Erwin Schrödinger Library. It offers 100 PC workstations for digital examinations in presence (digital written exams).

The Erwin Schrödinger Centre (ESZ) was chosen as the central location for conducting the digital examinations in presence because the resources can best be bundled here and the PC pools are located in the CMS administration. From the summer semester 2022, it will begin regular operation after initial pilots in the winter semester 2021/22. This offer will be supplemented in individual cases for particularly large cohorts by e-exams in the Grimm Centre on the Mitte Campus.

Access to the e-examination centre in Adlershof

The e-examination centre is located on the ground floor of the Erwin Schrödinger Library. For exams, access is possible via the glass door (see green arrow) from the foyer without having to enter the library. There are coat racks at the other end of the PC room, so it is not necessary to lock yourself in the library cloakroom (padlocked there).

The training rooms ("Ausbildung") both offer a whiteboard as well as a computer system with beamer for the supervisors, so that supplementary instructions can easily be given to everyone during the examination. Comparable equipment is currently being upgraded in the large hall.
